Set within the Apatite Suite, one of the grand front rooms of the building with a wood panelled bay window, L'assiette de Maurice is Scotland's only Mauritian restaurant. Our Mauritian chefs bring the unique flavours of this cosmopolitan Indian Ocean island to the Highlands. You can complete your dining experience by sampling one of Mauritius finest rums. Our a la carte menu also has more traditional British home made dishes, including vegetarian and vegan dishes. The dishes are home made and local produce is used whenever possible.
The restaurant is available to guests on request and a table reservations are required.
Jade Lounge
Green is not only the colour often associated with nature, it is one that instils calmness and also a colour close to the hearts of Phil and Sarina. Thus is was a natural choice to go for green within the lounge and its associated properties of jade crystal. There are magnificant views over towards Knock Farrel, it is a place you can either sit and relax in, or even enjoy a relaxed dinner or even a drink or two.You can also dine informally in the Jade Lounge which has views across Knock Farrel. The convivial surroundings and ambience provides a relaxed and informal atmosphere to enjoy dinner or a drink.
The bar stocks more than 25 speciality bottled beers. In addition, short term guest beers are featured and are all personally selected for their flavours. The emphasis is on quality rather than quantity. There is also a selection of spirits, wines and range of non alcoholic drinks. Whatever your choice, we are here to offer you a warm and friendly service. Many of our guests return time and time again.
